Rotomolded dry boxes

Your gear deserves a fortress. Deso dry boxes are built as the ultimate dry storage box for your most critical equipment — a rugged, weatherproof gear box that goes where you go.

We use a one-piece rotomolding process, which means no seams to crack or fail. Serious impact resistance that shrugs off drops and abuse. Each box features a thick outfitter-grade gasket for an IP65-rated, weatherproof and dust-tight seal. Rain, spray, river splash, trail dust. None of it gets in.

Built for hard use:

  • One-piece rotomolded shell with no seams to fail
  • IP65 weatherproof and dust-tight seal
  • Heavy-duty latches that lock tight
  • Integrated tie-down slots for raft frames, truck beds, and UTVs
  • Stackable design for organized camp storage

Rotomolded Dry Box FAQ's

What does IP65 mean?

IP65 means the box is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Rain, spray, river splash, waves and hose-downs. It keeps your gear dry in real conditions. It's not rated for full submersion like our IPX8 duffel bags.

Can I use these as a dry box for rafting?

Yes. The integrated tie-down slots let you strap them directly to a raft frame. They handle splash and spray all day. For gear that might end up underwater in a flip, pair with a submersible duffel inside.

Will these work as a waterproof box for my boat?

They're built for it. Dust-tight seal keeps out spray and rain. Tie-down slots secure them to the deck. Rugged and tough, ready for the toughest waves.

Can I mount these in a truck bed or UTV?

Yes. The tie-down slots work with standard straps and mounts. The rotomolded shell handles rough roads and trail abuse without cracking.

What size do I need?

The 50L fits essentials like electronics, optics, first aid, and documents. The 70L adds room for clothing layers, boots, or bulkier gear — the most versatile size for day trips and single-activity loadouts. The 150L handles full camp setups, multi-day gear, or heavy-duty truck bed storage. The 220L is the expedition box — wheels included — built for multi-day rafting trips, extended hunting camps, or anyone who needs to haul everything in one shot.

What's the difference between a dry box and a cooler?

A dry box is built for gear protection — weatherproof storage that keeps equipment dry, dust-free, and organized. A cooler is insulated to keep contents cold. Deso makes both. Our rotomolded dry boxes feature an IP65-rated seal for weatherproof gear storage. Our rotomolded coolers use the same tough shell with added insulation for ice retention. Some customers run both — a cooler for food and a dry box for electronics, optics, and clothing.

Are these good for camping gear storage?

Built for it. The stackable design keeps camp organized, and the IP65 seal means you can leave them outside overnight without worrying about rain or dew getting in. They double as a camp table, seat, or workstation. The 50L and 70L work for electronics and smaller essentials, while the 150L and 220L handle full camp setups including cooking gear, clothing, and food storage.

Can I use these as a truck bed storage box?

Yes. The 150L and 220L dry boxes fit full-size truck beds and the 50L and 70L work great in mid-size beds or as secondary boxes. All feature integrated tie-down slots so they lock down tight during transit. The IP65 weatherproof seal keeps rain, road spray, and dust out of your gear whether you're running highway miles or backcountry roads. The rotomolded shell handles shifting loads and impacts without cracking.
